Who I Am
In 2000, I graduated with a degree in Psychology on my way to my Phd. with a concentration in counseling. It was two weeks before my final exam when I had my daughter Samantha. I decided then that I would trade my Phd for my new passion…motherhood and being the best and most supportive wife I could be. Although I loved this new chapter in my life, my purpose was calling loudly. As much as I wanted to continue my journey to get my PhD, going to school part time for the next 8 years seemed endless and there was a new priority for me now…my family. That is when I came across Life Coaching. When I saw that coaching was about moving people forward with tools and strategies that we come up with together, I became very interested. The more I researched about this field, the more fascinated I became. Soon, I was hooked. I was certified in 2002 balancing motherhood, a husband and some clients here and there. In 2012, my daughter turned 12 and she was spending more and more time at school with sports and after school activities. It was time to take my coaching to a new level. I re-certified in 2013 and opened the doors to Next Step Coaching which finally became Jodi Strange Coaching. I welcome you to my website and hope to serve you in some way in the future.
